Beth Joyner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beech Island, SC—Funeral Services for Mrs. Beth Joyner, 62, who entered into rest May 20, 2022, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Dann officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5 until 7. Mrs. Joyner was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Jimmie Andrew Orander and Patricia Ann Collins Orander. She was retired from Augusta Metro Credit Union as Senior Vice President and was a member of True North Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, George W. Joyner, Jr.; her three children, Chad (Anna) Joyner, and Christopher (Kourtney) Joyner, North Augusta, SC; and Paige Joyner, Beech Island, SC; three grandchildren, Reece Joyner, Landon Joyner and Madilynn Joyner; two brothers, Andy (Renee) Orander, James Island, SC and Kevin (Mary) Orander, Aiken, SC; one sister, Gwen (Ray) Jackson, Aiken, SC; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chad Joyner, Landon Joyner, Chuck Cates, Patrick Orander, Kevin Orander, Don Joyner, Bobby Parker, and Chris Joyner. Memorials may be made to True North Church Building Fund, 1060 West Martintown Road, North Augusta, SC 29841. Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta is in charge of arrangements (803-278-1181).
