Clarks, Hill, SC—Memorial Graveside Services for Mrs. Carol C. Scott, 75, who entered into rest January 1, 2021, will be private and located at the Scott family cemetery adjacent to the Dothan Chapel, in the Morgana section of Edgefield County. A public Memorial Service will be held in the same location in late spring or summer, when COVID-19 allows public gatherings. Mrs. Scott was a native of Nashville, TN having made Clarks Hill, SC her home for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Church of the Ridge and was a retired dental hygienist. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Comer and Harriette Spillers Comer. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert M. Scott; a daughter and son-in-law, Kate and Luke Owens, Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Carter Owens, Sophie Owens and Austin Owens; a brother, W. Terry Comer, Franklin, TN.
