Gerald "Jerry" Brison

December 2, 1938 - January 26, 2022

Augusta, GA—Funeral Services for Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Brison, 83, who entered into rest January 26, 2022, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel with Dr. Paul Noe officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 4 until 6. Mr. Brison was a native of Wichita Falls, TX, having made the Augusta area his home for the past 50 years. He retired from the United States Army with 26 years of dedicated service and received the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Brison was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association of American and was of the Baptist faith. He received his 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending auctions and watching the history channel and battle war television programs. Survivors include his beloved wife of 13 years, Gail Brison; his daughter and son-in-law, Adel and Paul Frodyma, Sumter, SC; four grandchildren, Ian Weltz, Mathias Weltz, Trenton Frodyma and Gabriella Frodyma.
