North Augusta, SC—The Memorial Mass for Mrs. Janet Larson, 59, who entered into rest August 23, 2020, will be conducted Saturday morning, at 11 o’clock at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Father Richard Wilson as celebrant. Inurnment in Our Lady of Peace Columbarium. We encourage those attending to wear a mask and social distancing will be practiced. For those who are unable to attend, the Memorial Mass will be livestreamed on Posey Funeral Directors Facebook page. Mrs. Larson was born in Hays, Kansas, having made North Augusta her home for the past 11 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mrs. Larson received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. She enjoyed bowling and will always be remembered as being a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. Mrs. Larson was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Staab; a granddaughter, Jaina Nelson; and a sister, Lynn Wetter. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Creighton A. Larson; two sons, Shane (Margaret) Larson, Southern Pines, NC and Ryan (Crystal) Larson, Hinesville, GA; two daughters, Ashley (Charles) Long, Salina, KS and Kelsey (Steve) Nelson, Woodbridge, VA; 10 grandchildren, Clint Nelson, Dane Nelson, Honor Nelson, Ainsley Nelson, Zoey Larson, Savannah Larson, Creighton Larson, Hunter Larson, Dylan Long and Quinn Long; her mother, Lila Herl Staab, Hays, KS; a brother, Lee (Wanda) Staab, Larkspur, CO; a sister, Sherry Staab, Columbia, MO; several nieces and nephews.
