Norman Joseph Evancic

North Augusta, SC – Funeral Services for Mr. Norman J. Evancic, 93, who entered into rest Monday, March 21, 2022, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel, Pastor Alex Chartier officiating. The service will be streamed live at http://www.poseyfuneraldirectors.com/obituaries/permalink/10419991/LTWebcast Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens with Veteran’s Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mr. Evancic was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, having made North Augusta his home for over 40 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and retired from the Department of Energy at Savannah River Site. Mr. Evancic was the loving and devoted husband to the late Ruth Evancic for over 65 years. He was an incredible father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Beverly Evancic, Boise, ID and Bob and Linda Evancic, Martinez, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jeff Kirkpatrick, Aiken, SC; four grandchildren, Jason Kirkpatrick (Kara), Brian Evancic (Monique), Scott Kirkpatrick (Laura) and Matt Evancic (Erica); nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1002 Carolina Avenue, North Augusta, SC 29841.
