Mrs. Cleora Lillian Harbin Phillips Belvedere, SC—Mrs. Cleora Lillian Harbin Phillips, 92, of Ashley Circle, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o’clock at Belvedere First Baptist Church. Rev. John Meyer and Dr. Roy Head will be officiating. Interment will be at East North Street Church Cemetery, 4108 East North Street Extension, Greenville, SC 29615 at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Mrs. Phillips was a native of Anderson, SC, and was the last of eleven children born to W. Sloan Harbin and Sallie Sara Lucy Allen Harbin. Mrs. Phillips made Belvedere, SC her home for the past 50 years. She was a retired retail associate with K-Mart in North Augusta, South Carolina. Mrs. Phillips was a faithful member of Belvedere First Baptist Church since 1965, and a dedicated member of the Faith Sunday School Class. She was a loving mother and grandmother, sharing her sweet smile and compassionate loving heart. Mrs. Phillips was a prayer warrior and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, James Perry Phillips; a son, James Michael (Mike) Phillips, Sr.; a daughter, Carol Lynn Phillips; a grandson, James Michael Phillips, Jr.; three brothers, seven sisters, her father in-law and mother-in-law, nine brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Phillips Thomas, North Augusta, SC; a daughter-in-law, Tracy Phillips, Augusta, GA; two grandchildren, Rhonda Rosier and her husband Charles, Augusta, GA; Amber Leigh Thomas, Lexington, SC; five great-grandchildren, Rachel Phillips, Kalef Rosier, Nicholas Phillips, Kyler Rosier, and Keller Rosier; numerous devoted nieces and nephews, two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Faith Sunday School Class. Active Pallbearers will be Tom Satcher, Jake Farr, Jim Key, Gary Hartley, Freddie Holton and Ernest Towner. The family will receive friends at Belvedere First Baptist Church one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and caregivers at National Healthcare and Hammond Place of North Augusta. Also, much appreciation to our friends, Veda Cook and Melba Watts for their loving and compassionate hearts in helping with Mrs. Phillips over the past couple of years.
