Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Maney

Beech Island, SC – Funeral Services for Mrs. Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Maney, 62, who entered into rest October 2, 2023, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o’clock from Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island with Pastor Greg Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11 o’clock. Debbie was born March 26, 1961, in Detroit, MI, having made Beech Island, SC her lifelong home. Debbie was a devout member of Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island and loved her church family. She served as the church secretary, Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School coordinator, and in many other capacities. Debbie truly had a servant’s heart and continually gave of herself. She was actively involved in her community and volunteered in the Fall festivals, Trunk-or-Treat, Christmas programs, and was a member of the Beech Island Historical Society. However, Debbie’s greatest passion in life was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Jack Edward Harrison, Sr.; and a sister, Lucy Gail Clayton. Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her husband of 42 years, Kim Maney; her children, Jeremey Maney, and Julia Murray (Scott); three grandchildren, Abigeyl Faith Maney, Kyler Lee Scott Murray, and Goldie Grayce Murray; her mother, Joan Harrison; eight siblings, Kevin Harrison (Lyn), Denise Craven (Bubba), Kelly Webster, Susan Powell (Randy), Melinda Price (Mack), Craig Harrison, James Harrison, and Jack Edward Harrison, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Lois Maney; a brother-in-law, Dale Maney; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Fulton (Robert) and Charlotte Maney. Pallbearers will be Ralph “Bubba” Craven, Jeffrey “Scott” Murray, Bobby Mims, Kyler Murray, Jack Windsor Mason, Brent Fulton, Justin Craven, and Lannis Grubbs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island, 170 Church Street, Beech Island, SC 29842.
