Frank Berry

North Augusta, SC- Funeral Services for Frank W. Berry, 89, who entered into rest on June 30, 2025, will be conducted on Thursday morning, July 3, 2025, at 11 o’clock from Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Cathy Jamieson, Dr. John Newell and Dr. Joe Lusk officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens with Veterans Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, July 2, 2025, from 6 to 8 o’clock. Frank was born December 22, 1935, to the late George and Grace Banks Berry in Grovetown, GA. The family moved to Augusta, Georgia where Frank grew up and attended Boys Catholic High. He later enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as a Radarman. Upon completion of service, he returned to Augusta where he worked at International Paper for 30 years. Frank met and married Gloria and they made Belvedere, South Carolina their home for over 50 years. Frank was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where he served as an Usher, volunteered in the United Methodist Men and in the kitchen ministry. Frank was also a member of Jesse C. Lynch Post American Legion 71 where he was a part of the honor guard. He also volunteered for a number of years as a greeter at the North Augusta Parks and Recreation Department. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers in football and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Berry; two brothers, Milton Berry, Sr. and George Berry, III and three sisters, Jean Videtto, Ethel Brizzolara and Edith Phillips. Surviving members of the family left to cherish his memory include his wife of 55 years, Gloria Berry; two sons, Troy Carrington and Matthew (Amy) Berry; three grandchildren, David Berry, Andrew Berry and Jackson Berry and one great-grandchild, Kai Berry. As well as, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Berry, Charles Berry, George Berry, Milton Berry, Joey Hughes, and Bruce Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Stillwell Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Grace United Methodist Church, 639 Georgia Ave., North Augusta, SC 29841.
