Gary David Noyce

North Augusta, SC— Mr. Gary David Noyce, age 70, entered into rest March 14th, 2024. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday morning, March 22nd, at 11 o’clock at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Father Antonydas Gaspar celebrant presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, March 21st, from 6 to 8 o’clock. A private interment will be held at a later date. Gary was born May 9th, 1953, to the late Donald and Helen Noyce. He was a native of Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Holy Rosary High School where he met his sweetheart and wife of 50 years, Kathy. Gary graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and went on to have a successful career working with General Motors as an industrial engineer. Gary was a skilled craftsman and, in later years, he proudly shared his talents while owning and operating Savannah River Tile. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed coaching baseball, basketball, and playing golf. Gary enjoyed cooking for his family with “Wanke” chicken being an all time favorite. He was known by his family as the “baby whisperer” for the ease he had in getting his grandchildren to sleep. Gary had a lovable personality and will be fondly remembered as a family man who treasured his wife, loved his children, and adored his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Noyce. Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathy Noyce; three sons, David Noyce (Jami), of North Augusta, South Carolina, Bryan Noyce (Jill) of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Andrew Noyce of Raleigh, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Rachel, Mickey, Nathan, Bronson, Owen, and Henrik Noyce; seven siblings, Larry Noyce, Diane Miller (Jim), Jackie Hauck, Theresa Cory, Karen Dunn (Rocky), Sharon Zafiroff (Kurt), Matt Noyce (Carol), and Nan Noyce; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kevin Buckley (Gay), Jim Buckley (Pattie), Dan Buckley (Leslie), Ann Evans (Jeff), Maureen Gresk (Paul), Fran Buckley (Antoinette), Tom Buckley (Maria), and Pat Buckley (Tobi); and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org Pallbearers will be Gary's grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Rachel, Mickey, Nathan, Bronson, Owen, and Henrik Noyce.
