Luke M. Fetterhoff North Augusta, SC – Memorial Services for Luke M. Fetterhoff, 22, who entered into rest August 19, 2021, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 5 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. John Meyer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In honor of Luke, it is the request of the family that those in attendance wear the colors red or aqua/teal. Luke was born in Charleston, SC, with North Augusta, SC being his home for the past six years. He grew up as a member of Belvedere First Baptist Church, where he enjoyed serving with the church’s security team and has recently attended First Baptist Church of Vaucluse. Luke was employed as a computer programmer with Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. Prior to his employment at the Savannah River Site, he worked with the Wilson Family YMCA of Augusta. During his time there, Luke found great joy as an instructor, teaching swim lessons, CPR classes and lifeguarding. He had a great, self-driven, work ethic in his approach to life and his service to others. Luke was a profound Christian who will be fondly remembered for having a servant’s heart and constantly putting others first. He always sought out opportunities to serve, offering his selfless love and service to everyone he met. As a youth, Luke loved music, especially Christian music and playing in the youth band at Belvedere First Baptist Church. He also learned to play drums so he would have an opportunity to play in church on Sunday mornings. Luke had a special place in his heart for helping children and youth even after graduating from the church youth program. He also enjoyed playing video games which ultimately led him into his career as a computer programmer. Survivors include his parents, David and Annette Fetterhoff; two brothers, Joshua Fetterhoff and Curtis Fetterhoff; and the love of his life, Erin Greene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Katie’s Pool at the Wilson Family YMCA, 3570 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909. Posey Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements (803)278-1181.
