Lexie Ann Bonham Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

North Augusta, SC - Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lexie Ann Bonham, 81, who entered into rest May 22, 2022, will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o’clock at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Fr Richard Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Bonham was born August 29, 1940, in Augusta, GA to the late Marvin and Helen Alsabrooks. She was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mrs. Bonham retired from Comcast after many years of service as a customer service representative. She was a Girl Scout leader, avid bowler, loved the beach, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Bonham; sister, Mary Newsome; brothers, Lamar Alsabrooks and Leroy Duchscher. Survivors include her daughters, Susan Wilson (Art), Janet Mumford (Jim); son, Philip Bonham (Marcia Kell); three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joseph and Hannah (Corbin); five great grandchildren, Brantley, Jaiden, Teagan, Harper and Gunner; sister-on-law, Melba Jones; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Jackie Roy, Cathy Bonham, Pat Goad, Ben Zicarelli, Mark and Alice Hall and Charlie. Pallbearers will be Joseph “Bam” Nevils, Trace Brinson, Michael Blackwell, Joseph Bonham, Corbin Seigler and Mason Miller. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Thursday evening at 6 o’clock with visitation following until 8 PM. Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
