Aiken, SC – Private Graveside Services for Mrs. Shirley Irene Alexander, 84, who entered into rest January 5, 2021 will be conducted in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Alexander was born in Montmorenci, SC and lived most of her life in Aiken County, SC. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Beech Island, SC. Mrs. Alexander loved church and the work of Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. Alexander is the daughter of the late J.D. Corbin and Rosabelle Scott Corbin and wife of the late Pearl Eugene Alexander. She is also preceded in death by son, Philip Eugene Alexander; brothers, J.D. Corbin, Jr. and James Corbin; sister, Mary Corbin Beck. Mrs. Alexander is survived three sons, Darrell Wayne (Linda) Alexander, Bryan Keith Alexander, Mark Alan Alexander; daughter-in-law, Dixie Alexander; grandchildren, Jennifer M. (Lee) Widener, D.J. Alexander, Bryan Keith (Tarah) Alexander, Jr., Brandi Alexander, Misti Alexander, Tyler Alexander, Bryan Keith Alexander; three great grandchildren, sisters, Betty Brunson, Pat Drake; brother, Leroy Corbin and a number of nieces and nephews. God took care of her and blessed her. Death cannot destroy precious memories and she shall still live on forever in the hearts of her family and loved ones.
