North Augusta, SC—Funeral Services for Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Brown, 62, who entered into rest June 10, 2023, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o’clock from Warren Belvedere. Pastor Steven Newman, Rev. John Meyer and Pastor Tom Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Dearing City Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was a life-long resident of North Augusta and member of Warren Belvedere where she was an active and devoted member. She was the leader of the Women of the World “WOW” ministry and served in various capacities over the years including as a greeter and in the nursey. Mrs. Brown retired as a paraprofessional in the Aiken County School System where she worked at Belvedere, Hammond Hill and Redcliff Elementary Schools. The greatest joy of Mrs. Brown’s life was her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, granny, and aunt who loved spending time with those she loved, especially at the beach. Mrs. Brown’s kind and compassionate spirit will be missed, and she will forever be remembered as one who “loved you where you were in life.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Leslie Jackson. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Stephen Brown; three sons, Cory (Lindsay) Jackson, Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeffrey Brown, North Augusta, SC and Kyle (Kaylyn) Brown, North Augusta, SC; a brother, Bill Jackson, Greenville, SC; a sister, Debbie (Joe) Blount, Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren, Ethan Jackson, Aiden Jackson, Xander Jackson, Zayne Jackson, Avarie Jackson, Raelin Jackson, Jackson Brown and James Brown; three nephews, Robbie Joyner, William Blount and Cooper Jackson; four nieces, Anne Logan, Bailey Blount, Alexandria Wright and Addie Grace Jackson; her mother-in-law, Hazel Ann Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Traci Brown. Pallbearers will be Trent Burckhalter, Ishmael Bryant, John Foster, Michael Baker, Phil Solesbee and Mike Gee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5 until 7.
