Jeanne Dearman

Jeanne Dearman, age 70, entered into rest June 22, 2026. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday morning, June 29th, at 11 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kirk Saxon officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11 o’clock. Born on July 22, 1955, in Marietta, Georgia, Jeanne spent her childhood in Warner Robins, Georgia, while also experiencing life in many places due to her father's service in the United States Air Force. During her youth, she lived in Georgia, Colorado, Florida, and aboard in Turkey, experiences that helped shape her adventurous spirit and love for meeting new people. She graduated from Warner Robins High School and soon afterward met the love of her life, Frank. At just 19 years old, Jeanne married her sweetheart and best friend, Frank. Their marriage was a beautiful example of enduring love, companionship, and unwavering devotion. For 51 years, they shared life's adventures side by side, traveling the world together throughout Frank's Air Force career. Their journey took them to the Philippines, Michigan, Florida, and Georgia before they ultimately made their home in North Augusta, South Carolina, in 1998. Jeanne and Frank were inseparable companions who adored one another and built a life filled with cherished memories, laughter, and love. Jeanne never met a stranger. Her warm smile, outgoing personality, and genuine interest in others allowed her to make friends wherever she went. She loved to have fun, embraced life wholeheartedly, and lived each day to the fullest with no regrets. Her joyful spirit was contagious, and those around her were naturally drawn to her kindness, humor, and generous heart. A woman of deep faith, Jeanne's relationship with the Lord guided her throughout her life. She found comfort and strength in her faith and looked forward with confidence to being reunited in Heaven with the loved ones who had gone before her. Her faith was reflected not only in her words but in the way she loved and cared for others. Jeanne possessed a remarkable creativity and talent that seemed to have no limits. As a child, she played the harmonica and developed a beautiful singing voice that brought joy to those who heard her. Throughout her life, she expressed her creativity in many ways. She worked as a skilled cosmetologist for many years before transitioning her career into real estate. Later, she discovered what would become one of her greatest passions—floral design. She especially loved creating beautiful arrangements for weddings and special events, finding great satisfaction in helping others celebrate life's most meaningful moments through her artistry. Jeanne also had an enormous heart for animals. She was a devoted animal lover who never hesitated to rescue and care for animals in need. Her compassion extended to every living creature, reflecting the kindness and generosity that defined her character. Above all else, Jeanne loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, family member, and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her kindness, laughter, faith, creativity, and unconditional love. Jeanne's life was a beautiful reminder to love deeply, laugh often, cherish family, and embrace each day as a gift. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Vance Lee Richardson and Dolores Ann Hardin Richardson; and a sister, Donna Richardson. Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her husband, Frank Dearman; her children, Patrick Lee Dearman (Mary-Beth) and Rhea Renne Frysinger (Thomas); a grandchild, Annalee Cyphers; her sisters, Terry DeBord and Patty Forehand (Neil). Pallbearers will be Jack Chavis, Chris Chavis, CJ Chavis, and David Heald. Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta is in charge of arrangements (803)278-1181.
