Our 'Back the Blue BBQ' is a time where we prepare a meal for our local law enforcement as a thank you for all they do for our community. It is a great time of fellowship with the brave men and women who keep us safe.
Hope for the Holidays
The Holiday Season can be difficult when you're still grieving the loss of a loved one. 'Hope for the Holidays' is a program we've designed to help you start to enjoy your holidays again.
Wreaths Across America
We partner with The Jesse C. Lynch Memorial American Legion Post No. 71 each year to make sure every veteran's grave has a wreath this holiday season.
The Wreaths Across America ceremony will be on December 15th at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Sunset Hill Cemetery, and Pineview Memorial Gardens.

Grief Share - Spring 2024
Posey Funeral Directors serve our community by offering care and support to grieving families. That same care and support is extended to families after the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, and most of the people around you have returned to their normal lives. But for you, your grief continues, and you may feel as though you have been left all alone to deal with it. We invite you to consider participating in GRIEF SHARE, one of our grief after-care programs offered to those who have experienced the loss of a spouse, a child, a parent, other family member or friend. GRIEF SHARE is a program led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in that same place. Grief Share is offered twice a year in 13-week cycles (Spring and Fall series). We are currently accepting registrations for the Spring 2024 series that begins Tuesday, February 13th and runs through May 14th. Sessions are conducted on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Posey Cottage. Space is limited – pre-registrations are required. You may register by calling our office at 803-278-1181.
