Each year, Posey Funeral Directors sponsors the R.O.C.K. Grief camp in partnership with the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta. Camp R.O.C.K. (Remembering Others and Creating Keepsakes) supports children and teens ages 6 to 16 who have lost a parent or guardian within the past two years. Our camp experience provides each child the opportunity to treasure and remember their loved one with the assistance of trained staff in an environment that provides new experiences for growth. Campers will experience typical camp activities (like archery and kayaking) interspersed with therapeutic interventions. Our camp is a one-day, NO-COST camp experience that empowers a grieving child through professional, philanthropic, pastoral and volunteer connections. We provide a safe place for children learning to cope with grief to find a true sense of hope that can change their life. Space is limited. Click here to register for this year's R.O.C.K. Grief Camp.
